That’s in new pub- the Pint on Eden quay.

It’s a fundraiser for the Rathlin jig and reels free festival. Free this year ’cause the bill for policing it last year meant they were the only people who got paid. The locals decided to have a free festy rather the a PSNI fundraiser. Result. More info here.

Ah, memories. Just found these images of myself and and others from Spacecraft executing the Celtic tiger(in the form of a giant, tiger skin wearing Padraic Flynn puppet) in 1999-took the bastard a long time to die! I remember we had a real twelve foot guillotine on wheels! And we won a prize.  More images and info here .

2bit has a nice bouncey  mix up over at his site– it includes one of my fav tunes from the last couple of months -Bruce stallion’s 150 bpm monster -1992- which weirdly for such a fast tune reminds me of strings of life- come to think of it, maybe that’s the point. In fact the end of 2bit’s mix has that early nineties feel.
